Final Major Project: Group Critique Summary Notes – 8th August 2018

Notes from my recent group critique with Stella Baraklianou – recorded here for reference and action. I was the only attendee so it was more of a 1:1 than a group critique.

We discussed my current progress and the installation of my work.

Key points for consideration:

Future development ideas:-

  • Film manipulation of images

  • How could I embed the sourced software into my work and make it more interactive?

  • Digital screens could be bigger and be the main feature of the exhibition

  • Have a big LED screen and show images in a slide show – consider billboards and advertising displays

  • Consider writing about the science and ideas behind the work and how it was put together

  • Consider mirrorguard glass in future to remove reflections

  • How did it feel to be the model? Consider this

Have done a beautiful job with the framing, finish, and execution of the exhibition

In future consider a more immersive platform – more interactive – allow audience manipulation of images (mine or their own) through coding – live stream
