Final Major Project: IoP Symposium Workshop – Portfolio Clinic – 18-02-18

The sixth and final workshop that I attended at #iopSymposium18 was a portfolio clinic. Each participant presented images and explained their work. A discussion then took place.

Key learning points from the session with Gary McLeod and Wendy McMurdo:-

1. ensure your portfolio is tailored to the reviewer

2. be specific in what you want to get out of the review

3. use a standard size and format for images

4. images are better out of plastic sleeves

5. stick with one genre for most reviews

6. don’t confuse the reviewer by having images of various topics.
