Final Major Project: Shoot FMP#16 – Self-Portraits – 7th June 2018

This shot was the final one for this project. I decided to focus on the obsessive nature of perfecting a selfie. So, to show this, I wore mascara and then 21 different pairs of false eyelashes within the space of 1-2 hours. The method of shooting was very obsessive, with the need to complete a grid of 24 different images my only goal.

This image is symbolic of the obsession with perfection that many seem to crave on social media.

The shoot also included the last of the gadget trials, additional prop shooting, and the creation of some Instagram style videos.
