Informing Contexts – Venice Graffiti Mini Project

Writer's picture: Jo SutherstJo Sutherst

Whilst in Venice, I decided to shoot images of graffiti around the town that I could use as backgrounds for my work.  This action came out of the evaluation of my recent Harley Quinn shoot.  I was struck at how colourful, diverse and quite beautiful a lot of the graffiti was in Venice.  I will assess and evaluate the success of these images when I use them in my composite images.

All images were shot on a Nikon d810, ISO100, f2.8, 1/200s.  Post processing involved  cropping only in Lightroom.
